Transport for London (TfL) is dealing with a cyber security incident.

TfL stated in a public notice on their official website:

"We are currently dealing with an ongoing cyber security incident. At present, there is no evidence that any customer data has been compromised and there has been no impact on TfL services."

They have also stated on X that the National Crime Agency and the National Cyber Security Centre are working with them to resolve this incident.

It is important to note that at the time we have no details about the incident and its nature.

"Transport for London have a genuine internal security incident running and are reverting to paper processes."

The cyber security researcher "Kevin Beaumont" stated

"Transport for London have shut down outbound internet access and restricted systems inbound, eg they have cut off some Netscaler VPNs but left up others for home users. They appear to be doing a containment. Unclear if ransomware so far as haven’t had time to crawl network traffic.. but it’s the containment steps you take for ransomware and extortion groups."

We will keep you up-to-date with the latest developments as always ❤️
